You can use the concrete roads to Haad Rin, but you have been warned that the roads are not in the best state and unless consider yourself a competitant motorbike driver then don't attempt to get to Haad Rin, as nearly all accidents involving motorbikes happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your scooter at the 7-11 at Ban Tai and pay approx 40 Baht for a taxi over the mountains to Haad Rin. A enormous variety of fishes and some fantastic coral reefs offering divers unrivalled adventures. Other day time activities now include kite surfing, snorkeling and fishing tours.
